Introduction to GDT Training Service

Alibaba GDT Program provides online and offline training services led by industry experts and professionals who provide the most up-to-date concepts, theories and practices for member institutions every year, training and certifying their lecturers to deliver GDT academic programs to students. GDT Program also seeks to establish a global platform for dialogue and international collaboration, which continuously provides trainers and academics at member institutions with the latest insights, knowledge and case studies about the digital economy and digital entrepreneurship.

Online Train the Teacher (OTT)

Online Train the Teachers (OTT) Service is organized by Alibaba GDT Program three times per year, each of which lasts 11 weeks. Lecturers from member institutions, who have completed the online training and passed the assessments, will be certified as Alibaba GDT Permitted Lecturers.

Train the Trainers (TTT)

The on-site Train the Trainers (TTT) is held in the Alibaba Headquarters in Hangzhou, China, for member institutions which may nominate up to five of the existing GDT Permitted Lecturers per year to participate into this training. Participants who have passed the TTT certification will be authorized to be Alibaba GDT Certified Trainers, that are eligible to act as Trainers for OTT, to be invited to sit in GDT Global Academic Committee, or to conduct sharing sessions on GDT knowledge in public.
